Learn how to paint Trees, seas, rocks & skies in Acrylics (for beginners)

Learn how to paint with acrylics from professional artist Nina King in a friendly, supportive and fun environment.

Saturdays 9:30am - 12:30am on:
12th September/3rd & 24th October 2026= £60 per session
 
This is a 'one off' 3 hour workshop with a very small group, giving you almost one-to-one tuition and plenty of support and advice. All materials are provided. You’ll work on a painting where the focus may be on Trees or Skies for example. You can bring your own reference material if you like.
The workshops take place within Nina's own gallery in Wellington, Somerset (Talent Gallery, 11 Fore Street, Wellington, Somerset, TA21 8AA).
 
During these workshops you will learn how to get started painting subjects like trees, seas, rocks & skies, and how they 'fit' into your landscapes, playing around with perspective and contrast. You can also order a starter box. You will learn how to colour mix, helping to save you money on buying paint. I introduce the core elements of painting, such as perspective, tones, tints and values.

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you can’t make a workshop – refunds are not given (in exceptional cases you may be offered space on another workshop) this is at Nina’s discretion.
