'Stillness at Culm Davy' Somerset Art Print

Stillness at Culm Davy was a commission I was asked to do by a lovely lady called Jane for her mother Pattie. Jane took the original photograph and I adapted it slightly for the painting. Pattie loved the shafts of light through the trees and the atmosphere of the place. Unfortunately Pattie is unable to visit the woodland anymore, so bearing that in mind I painted in a path for her and tried to capture the spirit of this beautiful scene.
I really enjoyed the process of this painting and I felt very connected to both Pattie and this local woodland. I feel as though I am taking my critical self away while I am painting now, and just allowing creativity to enter into me. I tell creativity that I am here in front of the canvas, with my paints - so lets go!

All my original paintings are on canvas board or box frame. I use mainly Windsor and Newton acrylic paint. Each original is varnished in either a matte or gloss varnish. I usually use brushes and a pallet knife, but also fingers and paper towel.
Delivery

All of our prints are made to order therefore delivery will take between 7-14 days.

All prints will be hand-signed by the artist.

All prints are wrapped in acid free tissue paper and sent via a cardboard envelope or tube.
